Assignment Capsule:
The EAP Counselor will provide EAP services to a major national transportation company. You will be accountable for developing and maintaining key relationships and work with assigned areas to optimize business results.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the expert in medical and health administration research for the Clinical Programs.
- Provide regular, comprehensive summaries of critical literature findings and national guidelines that will assist in the development and support of clinical programs.
- Complete ad hoc searches as required for development of financial models and metrics to support clinical programs and initiatives.
- Represent the Clinical Programs and Innovation Center to internal and external audiences as required.

- Clinical Innovations: Understanding of clinical data and research, as well as program design, implementation, management and monitoring to support enhanced consumer choice, engagement, transparency and outcomes. Understands the medical utilization implications of such programs.

Role Essentials:
- Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or a related field.
- Three years experience working in an EAP, mental health, or substance abuse setting.
- Must be licensed for independent clinical practice in California.
- Must have or be eligible for certification for alcohol and drug abuse and CEAP.
- Must have experience working with alcohol and drug abuse cases, psychiatric cases, and critical incidents as well as marriage and family issues.
- Must have a working knowledge of organizational/labor relations issues.
- Must have a valid drivers license and have a reliable vehicle in order to cover the territory and be willing to travel overnight, as travel is required for this position.

You will report to an EAP Manager.
